NOTICE is hereby given that a Public Hearing by and before the Zoning and Platting Board of Review of the Town of Narragansett is scheduled for Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the Narragansett Town Hall, 25 Fifth Avenue, to consider and act upon the following applications:

APPEAL: Nuttall Properties, Plat S, Lot 90, 11 Defelice Road, of a Notice of Violation of the Town’s zoning ordinances issued by the Zoning Official.

Public Hearing: Doherty, Plat N-S, Lot 228, 145 Col. John Gardner Road, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically Variances from the Dimensional Regulations (Section 6.4), to Construct a Garage at the above referenced property.

Public Hearing: Stanton, Plat N-S, Lot 454, 257 Col. John Gardner Road, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically Variances from the Dimensional Regulations (Section 6.4 and Section 6.4(B)), to demolish the existing structures located onsite and construct a 3-bedroom single family dwelling at the above referenced property.

Public Hearing: 192 Ocean Road, LLC, Plat E, Lot 132-B, 192 Ocean Road, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically a Special Use Permit from the Coastal Resources Overlay District (Section 4.4), and a Variance from the Dimensional Regulations (Section 6.4), to construct a second floor deck and an inground pool at the rear of the dwelling at the above referenced property.

Public Hearing: DMF Realty/Flood Ford, Plat O, Lot 3-A, 21 Woodruff Avenue, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically amendments to all previous Zoning Board Decisions, a Special Use Permit for Signage (Section 7.18(i)(2)(a)) and a Special Use Permit from the Table of Use Regulations (Section 6.1): Use Code 551, to construct an automobile dealership showroom with signage at the above referenced property.

Public Hearing: East Side LLC., Plat S, Lot 140, 11 Walcott Avenue, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically a Variance from the Dimensional Regulations (Section 6.4), to validate a 2-family dwelling at the above referenced property.

Said petitions are on file in the office of Community Development in the Town Hall and available for review during regular office hours. Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the Department of Community Development at 401-782-0632, 48-hours in advance of the hearing date.
