Vision Appraisal Doing Revals This Week (Too)
All appraisal employees should have proper identification, so be sure to ask if you suspect a scam!

The Town of Narragansett has begun the state-mandated full revaluation project.
Rhode Island General Law requires that cities and towns do a full revaluation every nine years with a statistical revaluation every three and six years. The new values established for the full revaluation project will be used for the 2012 tax billing cycle.
We are pleased to announce the awarding of the full revaluation contract to Vision Appraisal. The Assessor's Office is looking forward to the continued relationship that we have with Vision Appraisal, to ensure that the program results in fair and equitable valuation of all the properties within the town's borders.

During the week of Feb. 13 to Feb. 17, Vision employees will be at various commercial and residential properties, taking photos. They will also be conducting callbacks for inspections and individual appointments.
Vision employees carry identification badges and an introduction from the assessor’s office. Vehicles used by the Vision employees are identified by an “assessor” sign displayer on their vehicles.
