Wakefield Books Author Event, Don Winslow & Greg McLaughlin

Don't miss the final event of the Wakefield Books 2024 Summer Author Series, featuring a fireside chat between two local favorites - Don Winslow and Greg McLaughlin.

The event takes place this Wednesday, August 21 at 7pm at The Contemporary Theater Company. Don is the author of The Cartel, The Power of the Dog, and several other bestsellers, including the City in Ruins / Danny Ryan trilogy. Greg is the author of the popular Matunuck series of novels.

Both authors hail from South Kingstown, and will discuss their common love of the Rhode Island South County shoreline area, their latest novels, their writing processes and the local inspirations that contributed to their storytelling. If you love South County, and Rhode Island, and books, you won't want to miss this one.

The evening will conclude with Q&A and a book signing, and both authors' books will be available for purchase.
