Would You Believe URI Is A Better School Than Brown?

PROVIDENCE, RI— If you're tired of predictable college rankings, here's one that's a little different. Rhode Island College is the number one 4-year college in the Ocean, according to Schools.com. Oh, yes, those Brown Bears did manage to elbow their way into the Top Five. But they were ranked third, behind URI.

Salve and Roger Williams rounded out their list.

So, how did that happen?

"Each school was scored on a 100-point scale using the most recent data available from government sources and based on metrics such as tuition and fees, number of degrees and certificate programs offered, flexibility and student services, rates for student graduation, retention, and transfer," the website said.
