Brenton Road Home Sells for $2.15 Million

A Nantucket-style house on Brenton Road in the exclusive New York Yacht Club estates area has sold for $2.15 million.

29 Brenton Road’s original asking price was $2.29 million. The house was listed by Gustave White Sotheby’s International Realty and the listing agent was Elena Wilcox.

The 5,051 square foot, four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom house was built in 2002, according to the listing agent, and includes numerous sunny nooks and corners to nap and relax along with private guest quarters, a large master bathroom, fireplace and secluded grounds with a swimming pool, patios and decks.

The buyer was not disclosed.

The seller was Erturk H. Ozbek, who bought the house for $1.2 million in 2011, according to records on file at Newport City Hall.

The property was valued at $1.27 million in the most-recent revaluation.
