Multimillion Dollar Jamestown Sale Signals Luxury Market 'Heating' Up: Realtor
Another sign the luxury housing market is recovering came when a waterfront Jamestown 'cottage' sold

JAMESTOWN, RI—"Firstlight Cottage" on East Shore Road has sold for $4.5 million, according to Lila Delman Real Estate International. That's the second highest price (year-to-date) for a waterfront Jamestown home, according to figures from the statewide Multiple Listing Service. Cynthia Moretti, broker associate, represented the seller and believes this sale reflects a trend.
“It has been very exciting to experience the increased activity in the luxury market and the renewed confidence of high-end buyers investing in our beautiful coastal properties,” she said.
Located at 320 East Shore Road, “Firstlight Cottage” is sited on 3.42 acres with sweeping water views of the East Passage of Narragansett Bay and 150 feet of beach frontage. Measuring 6,500 square feet across three levels, the house has five bedrooms, five and one-half baths, two full kitchens, a one-bedroom guest residence, a pool and a mooring.
