Newport Hosts 2016 Summer Rugby 7’s Tournament

This weekend, the annual Newport Summer 7s Rugby Tournament returns to Newport, RI on June 25th. As host, The Newport Rugby Football Club takes great pride in welcoming rugby 7s teams from all over New England back to beautiful Fort Adams State Park. This year there will be 42 teams travelling to Newport to compete in a total of 102 games on 3 fields throughout the day!!

The event is open to the public and we encourage spectators to come along and join in the festivities. There is no entry fee and there will be a concession tent on site with all the food and beverages you will need. The event starts at 8:00am on Saturday morning and will run till 7:00pm that evening. The event continues that night at One Pelham East with free entry before 9:30pm. Come along and join in one of the best events Newport has to offer this summer.
