Newport Police: Hit and Run Accident, Threatening Phone Calls

The Newport Police Department reported following arrests on Thursday May 3.

• Timothy Morris, 40, 41 Narrows Rd, Bristol, was arrested around 8 p.m. on a domestic threats charge. Morris reportedly owns a car detailing shop next to the dental shop where his brother had dental work. He was reportedly upset that his brother did not pay his dental bills and left him threatening messages. His brother described him as a hot head who likes to fight.
  
• Siuleiry Aquino, 19, of 90 Girard Ave, was arrested around 3:25 p.m. on simple assault charge and a bench warrant issued from the second district court. Aquino allegedly got out of her car and punched another woman in her face.
