Newport Seeks Ambassadors for Seasonal Posts
The City of Newport listed the job opportunity on its Facebook page.
As part of its new Ambassador program, the City of Newport has issued a call for applicants to the seasonal positions.
In a posting on the city's Facebook page, the city listed requirements of the job, including:
- serving as a guide;
- helping find transportation for visitors;
- reporting issues to city departments as needed; and
- contacting police and fire in emergency situations.
Job requirements include an understanding of Newport, its destinations, and its municipal services.
Applicants can apply at Newport City Hall, 43 Broadway.
