Newport Teen Didn't Want to go to School, Arrested after Throwing Fit: Police
Police said the 18-year-old yelled and threw items around his mother's house.

NEWPORT, RI—An 18-year-old Newport man was charged with domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct on Monday for allegedly yelling at his mother, throwing objects and punching a closet door because he didn't want to go to school.
Ricky M. Rosario, 18, was arrested by police who located him walking on Malbone Road not long after the alleged episode. He was taken into custody without incident and later released on $1,000 personal recognizance.
Rosario is due to return to court on June 15 for a pretrial conference.
