Police Chase Ends in Arrests

A police chase through at least three communities ended in two men being arrested Sunday, reports The Sakonnet Times. 

Newport Police confirmed the vehicle involved in the chase was reported stolen out of Newport on Sunday.  Police say the chase started in Portsmouth, continued into Tiverton, before ending in Westport, MA, after the vehicle crashed into a highway sign on Route 88 South. 

The two men, River M. Ahlquist, 18, of 1304 Eddie Dowling Highway, Lincoln, and Earl S. Dandy, 18, of 18 Washington Ave., Providence, were both arrested and charged, according to The Sakonnet Times.
