Friends Allegedly Steal Video Games, Sell at GameStop
The following arrest was reported by the Newport Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Vladimir Ramsey, 19, of 10 Cross Street Apt. #2, Newport, was arrested Monday around 9:45 a.m. on charges of receiving stolen goods.
On April 26, Ramsey and two friends allegedly went to Walmart to steal video games. Ramsey told police they watched until the “coast was clear” and then went through the garden center and placed the video games under the outside fence.
The three friends took the games Gamestop and exchanged them for cash, said police. Ramsey turned himself in at the police station.
