Wildacre Estate Sells For $14 Million

The 8,180-square-foot mansion was listed for $15.75 million. It has 14 rooms, 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

Wildacre, located at 310 Ocean Ave., was sold Tuesday by Campbell Soup heiress Dorrance Hamilton for $14 million, according to the Providence Journal.

The buyer was identified only as Ocean 310 LLC.

The 8,180-square-foot mansion was listed for $15.75 million. It has 14 rooms, 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

Gustave White Sotheby's International Realty, of Newport, handled both sides of the transaction. Michelle Kirby represented Hamilton, and David Huberman represented the buyer.

The estate is "a collaboration between architect Irving Gill and the Olmsted Landscape firm, the striking residence is perfectly fitted into the rugged oceanfront site with large granite outcroppings," according to the MLS description.
