1. Experience the Holiday Lights Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo.

Just a short drive from North Kingstown into Providence, the Roger Williams Park Zoo Holiday Lights Spectacular transforms 40 acres into a glowing winter walk-through. Each night from Nov. 28 through Jan. 4, more than 3.5 million lights illuminate larger-than-life displays, with themed nights ranging from meet-and-greets with Frozen characters to Santa visits and storytime with Roger the Red Panda.
