Social Media Tactics To Save Time, Money: Jamie Dufresne is hosting a workshop at the North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce on social media tips that will save busy business owners time and money. Lunch will be provided. $5.

Freshconnections meeting: Fresh Connections is a professional women's networking organization where women connect and help each other grow professionally. We meet every other week and welcome visitors. There is no charge to visit. Noon to 1 p.m. at 650 Ten Rod Road (The Boiler Room back southwest corner).

NK Women's Club meeting: The NK Women’s Club holds meetings the first Wednesday of the month.  The luncheon/meetings are held at the Quonset "O" Club located at 200 Lt. James Road, starting at 11:45 a.m. If you are interested in learning more about the group, contact the Membership Chairperson at 401-269-9285. Newcomers are welcome and you do not need to be a resident of North Kingstown.

R.I. Writer Stephen Dobyns at NK Free Library: Stephen Dobyns has published 13 books of poems and 21 novels. Dobyns will read from The Burn Palace, a novel that takes place in fictional Brewster, R.I. Recently, something out of the ordinary—perhaps even supernatural—has been stirring in Brewster. A series of inexplicably violent acts begins to confound the police—and inspire terror in the hearts and minds of the locals. Please register for this program here. 6:30 p.m.

NK Farmers Market: The Wickford Village Farmers Market is back – open on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the back of  the town parking lot on Brown Street. Head for the anchor!
