What: North Kingstown Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks

Where: North Kingstown Town Beach
When: 7 p.m. July 3
North Kingstown's July 4 celebration features a performance from the Lafayette Band at 7 p.m., followed by fireworks.
What: Chick Hatch
Where: South County Museum, Narragansett
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 4
Every Independence Day, the South County Museum hatches the latest Rhode Island red chick babies. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children and seniors.
What: South Kingstown Fireworks and July 4 Celebration
Where: Old Mountain Field in Wakefield
When: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. July 4
The celebration includes fireworks, a live concert, food and concessions and a 50/50 raffle.
What: Warwick Fireworks
Where: Oakland Beach, Warwick
When: 9 p.m. July 3
The fireworks display will be shot from Oakland Beach at dusk and last about 30 minutes. Spectators should expect delays on Oakland Beach Avenue. The show can also be viewed from City Park.
