Lafayette Band Free Concert with N.K. Community Chorus on July 13

The Lafayette Band of North Kingstown and the North Kingstown Community Chorus will combine their talents to present a free concert on Wed., July 13, at 7 p.m. at the Band Shell, North Kingstown Town Beach, off Route 1A, Wickford. The program will feature patriotic and classical music, show tunes, marches and more.

The Lafayette Band is a nonprofit community concert band with a mission to strengthen North Kingstown and surrounding communities through music. Founded 140 years ago, it is one of the oldest bands in Rhode Island. Though based in North Kingstown, the band’s members reside in many communities in Southeast New England.
