Man Killed In North Kingstowns Crash Identified

North Kingstown police said they are still seeking information to aid in investigating the fatal weekend crash.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — North Kingstown police identified the man who died in a car crash Saturday.

Police identified the crash victim as Mark Horton, 69, of Warwick.

The crash happened Saturday morning in the 1,000th block of Slocum Road. Police said it involved a Toyota MR2 and a Hyundai Sonata.

There were two people in the Toyota: Horton and a 29-year-old Exeter man, police said. The Hyundai had a 61-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman from Weymouth, Massachusetts in it, police said.

Horton was taken to South County Hospital, where he was ruled dead. Police said the occupants of the Hyundai and the driver of the Toyota suffered injuries, but they were not life-threatening.
