NK Man Wins $50,000 Playing PowerBall

One North Kingstown man is $50,000 richer after winning with a lucky PowerBall ticket.

The man, who asked not to be identified, matched four numbers and the PowerBall in the Oct. 10 drawing.

Had he chosen the PowerPlay feature, he would have won an extra $50,000, bringing his prize to $100,000.

Still, $50,000 is nothing to sneeze at.

The man said that he will use the money for some home renovations and to pay for his daughter’s college tuition.

The ticket was purchased at Sunnybrook Farms on Main Street in East Greenwich.
