North Kingstown: Lafayette Band, Fireworks Postponed to July 5

With rain predicted for July 3, the Independence Day event is rescheduled to Wednesday, July 5, fireworks at 9 p.m.

The annual North Kingstown Independence Day celebration has been rescheduled to Wednesday, July 5, at the North Kingstown Town Beach, Beach St., Wickford.

At 7 p.m., the Lafayette Band of North Kingstown will present its free concert of patriotic and popular music. The town's traditional fireworks display will follow at approximately 9 p.m.

Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.
