North Kingstown Police Officers Donate $1,350 To Local Food Pantry By Growing Beards

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — North Kingstown police officers put away their razors to help feed families this holiday season through the union's No Shave November fundraiser.

The fundraiser allowed officers to grow their beards if they donated to the community.

The donations benefited the North Kingstown Food Pantry. In total, participating police officers donated $1,350 to the pantry.

"We’re proud to support the North Kingstown Food Pantry and help make a difference for families in need," police said in a Facebook post. "Thank you to all our officers who participated and to the North Kingstown Food Pantry for the important work you do!"
