North Kingstown Stop & Shop Holds Reopening For Remodeled Store

Customers who visit the store during the grand reopening weekend can enjoy giveaways and free product samples.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The Step & Shop on Frenchtown Road in North Kingstown unveiled its newly remodeled grocery store on Friday.

The new features at the North Kingstown store include an updated produce department featuring a wide selection of fresh items, a new hot flatbread pizza section, fresh sushi made in-store daily, a hot bar area with prepared foods and grab and go meals, and a remodeled bakery featuring a wide variety of breads, sweets, and cakes.

Customers who visit the store during the grand reopening weekend from Friday to Sunday can enjoy a celebration with giveaways and product sampling between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Also, as a part of the grand reopening, Stop & Shop associates will present a $1,000 donation to the East Greenwich Interfaith Food Pantry.

"We’re excited to offer an even bigger selection of fresh produce, bakery items and ready to eat flatbread pizzas and sushi options, all with great values for our customers," store Manager Chris Moshier said in a statement. "In honor of our grand reopening, we’re also excited to treat our customers to fun giveaways and food samplings over the weekend, as well as recognize the East Greenwich Interfaith Food Pantry, who has been a great partner of ours."
