Carolyn Bourgauthas has four puppies at home, so she said she will eventually use her lottery winnings to "enjoy life."

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A North Kingstown woman won $50,000 on a scratch ticket, Rhode Island Lottery officials said Monday.
The winner, Carolyn Bourgaut, said it will be a while before she can use the money. She said she cannot go anywhere right now because she has four puppies at home. But she plans to use the money to "enjoy life," Bourgaut said.

Bourgaut's prize came from playing the Rhode Island Lottery's "50,000 Cash" instant game. Lottery officials said she bought the winning ticket at Colbea Enterprises on Elmwood Avenue in Warwick.
