North Kingstown Woman Hits $50K Lottery Jackpot

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A North Kingstown woman won $50,000 on a scratch ticket, Rhode Island Lottery officials said Monday.

The winner, Carolyn Bourgaut, said it will be a while before she can use the money. She said she cannot go anywhere right now because she has four puppies at home. But she plans to use the money to "enjoy life," Bourgaut said.
