NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A North Kingstown woman hit the jackpot when she bought a lottery ticket, Rhode Island Lottery officials said Wednesday.

The North Kingstown woman won $15,000 playing the "Crossword! 38" instant ticket game.

She bought the winning ticket at Colbea Shell at 1075 North Main St. in Providence, lottery officials said.
