Obituary: Emile L. Aucoin, 85

Emile L. Aucoin, 85, of North Kingstown, passed away surrounded by his loving family at the St. Elizabeth Community in East Greenwich on Thursday, October 22, 2015. He was the husband of Anna S. (Padula) Aucoin for 64 years. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Frank and Loretta (Jacob) Aucoin.

Emile was employed in the electronics industry for 41 years before retiring in 1992.

He was devoted to his wife and family, and enjoyed music and dancing.

Emile is survived by his sons John L. and his wife Susan, Ronald J. and his wife Patricia, his daughters Suzanne A. Moriarty and her husband Daniel, and Michele T. Aucoin and her husband Nick Paciorek. He was the grandfather of Daniel and Kyle Moriarty, and Kayla and Alexandria Aucoin. Emile was the brother of Edna Leonard, Cecile Knott, Constance Berg and the late Henry, George, Frederick, Normand Aucoin and Thelma Nathier.

His Funeral will be Monday, October 26, 2015 at 8:45 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Francis De Sales Church, 381 School St., North Kingstown. Visiting hours are Sunday 4 - 7 pm. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Elizabeth Community Memory Care Unit, 1 St. Elizabeth Way, East Greenwich, RI 02818 will be appreciated.
