Harry J. Whitford, Jr., 40, of Saunderstown, passed away June 4. Born in Warwick, he was a son of Harry J. Whitford, Sr. of Exeter and Linda M. (Peters) Leslie of Saunderstown. He was the step-son of Lynda C. (Kenney) Whitford and Gary S. Leslie; and the grandson of Lois M. Briggs of Exeter.
Harry worked for Harry J. Whitford, Sr., Rubbish Service. He enjoyed fishing and motorcycles.
Besides his parents, step-parents and grandmother, he leaves a son, Bodhi M. Whitford of North Kingstown; two brothers, Timothy E. Whitford of Coventry and Thomas J. Whitford of Exeter; two step-brothers, Wayne Kitchin of North Kingstown and Kevin Kitchin of Richmond; two step-sisters, Wendy Gould of Exeter and Karen Anderson of Virginia. He was the brother of the late Chad M. Whitford.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours Monday, June 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. His funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Phoenix House, 251 Main Street, Exeter, R.I. 02822 will be appreciated.
