Obituary: Lorene M. (Limb) Marks, 95

Lorene M. (Limb) Marks, 95, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2015 at South County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late George E. Marks. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. Limb and Irene (McNeil) Limb.

Mrs. Marks was a homemaker and Certified Nursing Assistant at Rhode Island Hospital for many years until her retirement. Following her retirement, she volunteered for over 20 years at Kent Hospital.

She leaves her loving daughter, Lorene M. Bain and her husband George of North Kingstown. Cherished grandmother of Michelle L. Taylor and her husband Glenn of Franklin, TN, Sandra J. Yeo and her husband Greg of Auckland, New Zealand, Stephen G. Bain and his wife Shannon of Southbury, CT, Jennifer L. Weaver and her husband Jay of Landisville, PA, and great-grandmother of nine. She was the aunt of Irene Kowerko, Patricia Kowerko, Carol Rosa, and sister of the late Irene Kowerko.

Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 3:00 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 2:00 to 3:00 pm prior to the service.
