Myrtle (Bigelow) Cotnoir, 89, of North Kingstown, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 19, 2015.

Myrtle (Bigelow) Cotnoir, 89, of North Kingstown, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 19, 2015. She was the wife of the late Norman E. Cotnoir. Born in Springfield, VT, she was a daughter of the late Elmer Bigelow & Marion (Longe) Bigelow.

Mrs. Cotnoir was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Bernard Church, member of the North Kingstown Senior Center, and loved knitting, traveling, & camping.

She leaves her six loving children: Paul Cotnoir and his wife Dawn of Baxter, TN; Annette Nedeau of Tiverton; Jeanne Morra of North Kingstown; Marie Flanagan and her husband Gary of Sevierville, TN; Robert Cotnoir and his wife Geraldine of Cookeville, TN; and Christine DeSalvo and her husband Caesar of North Kingstown. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Eleanor Heath and Edith Compton. She also leaves many nieces nephews, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 10:00 am in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, Wickford. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives & friends are invited and may call on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the St. Bernard Church Building Fund, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown, RI 02852 or to the North Kingstown Senior Center, 44 Beach Street, North Kingstown, RI 02852 will be appreciated.
