Obituary: Shannon C. Kovacs, 30

Shannon C. Kovacs, 30, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Born in West Allis, WI, the daughter of Andrea Williams of North Kingstown and Otto Kovacs, Jr. of Milwaukee, WI, she lived in Wisconsin for some years and spent the rest of her time in Rhode Island.

Shannon was an artist, a phenomenal violinist and enjoyed writing poetry. A cat lover, her four cats were her pride and joy. Shannon worked hard and was a strong person who loved her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she leaves a brother, Joel Kovacs of Charleston, SC; her maternal grandparents, the Rev. Donald and Lois Williams of Narragansett; her paternal grandparents, Otto, Sr. and Katalin Kovacs of Milwaukee, WI; her longtime friend Tom Gaetano of Providence; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. -
