Plane Crash In Bay Leads To Rescues In North Kingstown
A single-engine plane crashed in the bay in North Kingstown, leading to a rescue of two people.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A small plane crashed in Narragansett Bay in North Kingstown Saturday, leading to two people being rescued in the water.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the crash happened in Narragansett Bay near the Quonset State Airport, according to ABC6. The plane's two occupants got out before the plane sunk in the bay. They were taken to the hospital, but they did not appear to have injuries.
The Providence Journal reported that a marine police crew had found the two occupants in the water after the plane was already gone. One of the occupants was the pilot and tried to land when the plane experienced a power outage.
