Providence Thief Captured During Traffic Stop: Cops
The Providence man was wanted on. a larceny charge, police said.
NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A wanted Providence man was apprehended during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon.
Gary Hutley, 38, was arrested shortly before 2:45 p.m. on a warrant charging him with larceny, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Hutley was wanted in connection with an East Providence Police Department case, the release said.

Hutley was arrested during a traffic stop on Route 138 in North Kingstown, according to the release.
"Hutley was transported to the Rhode Island State Police-Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the East Providence Police Department," the release said.
