RI Man Gets 5 Years Of Probation For Trying To Send Sexual Videos To 10-Year-Old Child
Neil Streich, 60, admitted he thought he was sending sexually explicit videos of himself to a 10-year-old girl, but it was an FBI agent.
NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A former North Kingstown man was sentenced to five years of probation after he sent sexually explicit videos to who he thought was a 10-year-old child, U.S. Attorney Zachary Cunha said Friday.
Neil Streich, 60, of West Warwick, pleaded guilty in October 2020 to importation or transportation of obscene material.
Streich admitted that in March 2020, he sent three sexually explicit videos of himself on the social media platform Kik to an undercover FBI agent posing as a 10-year-old girl. Prosecutors said Streich sent the videos after about one week of communication with the FBI agent.
