RI State Police Team With Cardi's Furniture To Launch Clothing Drive

All clothes, linens, and shoes donated at Cardi's Furniture stores will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Rhode Island State Police launched a clothing drive on Monday to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island.

Rhode Islanders are encouraged to bring donations of clothes, linens, and shoes to designated bins located in all Cardi's Furniture and Mattress store locations.

"Now is a great time to clean your closets for a good cause," RI State Police Capt. Kenneth Jones said. "We are grateful to Cardi's for their partnership and look forward to collecting a lot of good items for Big Brothers and Big Sisters."

The Rhode Island State Police clothing drive will run until April 30.
