- Following a three-day intensive Girl’s Future Firefighter course, Tolman High School student Samura Poncett and Jacqueline M. Walsh School for the Performing and Visual Arts students Molly McCrone and Marielis Droz are equipped with foundational skills and self-confidence to enter careers in public safety. The course, held at Pawtucket Fire Department Station 2, over April break, was a free Girl’s Future Firefighter camp hosted by the city of Pawtucket and the Pawtucket Fire Department. (Valley Breeze)
