- Selected from over 5,000 candidates two Cranston students have been named semifinalists for the Presidential Scholarship. Among the 620 semifinalists, John Soscia, a graduating senior at Cranston High School West, is one of the semifinalists and the other is Kalliana Marek, a homeschooled student. - Brown University will be offering a new Critical Native American and Indigenous Studies concentration. The concentration will be offered in fall 2022 through the American Studies department. (The Brown Daily Herald)
