Pawtucket Woman Stole More Than $10K: Cops
She also fraudulently obtained more than $500 in public assistance, police said.
PAWTUCKET, RI — A Pawtucket woman stole more than $10,000, police said.
Calnisha Scurry, 32, was arrested shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday and charged with obtaining more than $10,000 in property by false pretenses and fraudulently obtain more than $500 in public assistance, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"This arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject subsequently turning herself in," the release said.

Scurry was processed and taken to the Third Division District Court for arraignment, according to the release.
