Central Falls & Pawtucket Seek Input From Restaurant Owners

The cities are working together on an economic development plan, and a Zoom meeting for restaurant owners is set for Tuesday, May 18.

CENTRAL FALLS, RI — The cities of Central Falls and Pawtucket are working together to develop an economic development plan, and input from the community is needed.

Now restaurant owners from both cities are invited to take part in a Zoom meeting set for Tuesday, May 18 at 2 p.m.

"Restaurants are an important part of our local economies," said the offices of Central Falls Mayor Maria Rivera and Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien said in issuing the invitation. "We want to hear from you as to your needs and what initiatives could help you."

Restaurant revitalization funding from the American Rescue Plan through the Small Business Administration will be discussed during the meeting, as will plans for Restaurant Week. Officials also plan to listen to the concerns of restaurateurs.
