Disciplinary Hearings For Three Pawtucket Bars Rescheduled
Police in July filed complaints naming the Vibe Lounge, International Club & Billar, and Mangos.
PAWTUCKET, RI — The Board of License Commissioners had intended to hold disciplinary hearings on August 11 concerning three downtown nightclubs, but the hearings have been rescheduled to Sept. 8.
The hearings were rescheduled because police who would testify at the hearings at the were on vacation, said City Clerk Richard J. Goldstein.
The three nightclubs facing disciplinary hearings are Mangos at 15 Exchange St., International Club & Billar at 327 Barton St., and the Vibe Lounge at 23 Broad Street.

Police Captain David Holden in late July appeared before the licensing board and described violent altercations at Mangos and the International Club and alleged back-to-back entertainment license violations at the Vibe Lounge, a club that's already in hot water following a shooting outside the establishment earlier this year. Holden requested that disciplinary hearings be held.
