1. A Brockton man who ditched a loaded gun on the street while leading Pawtucket police on a downtown foot chase — a chase that included a run through the public library — has been sentenced to prison. (Pawtucket Patch)
2. Prosecutors call it the Edwin Otero heroin trafficking conspiracy, and it had legs in Pawtucket and Cape Cod. A second man in the federal dragnet was just sentenced. Otero, the alleged ringleader — who had a place in the city — has pleaded not guilty and awaits trial. (Pawtucket Patch)
3. An Attleboro man just won $1 million in the Massachusetts VaxMillions lottery. He said he plans to use the money to help his kids get through college. (Enterprise News)
4. Disciplinary hearings for three Pawtucket bars have been rescheduled. Police have asked the city's Board of License Commissioners to hear complaints about the Vibe Lounge, the International Club & Billar, and Mangos. (Pawtucket Patch)
