Police Investigate Overnight Shooting At Vibe Lounge In Pawtucket

A crowd dispersed from the 25 Broad Street bar, police secured the scene at around 1 a.m., and a man was transported to the hospital.

PAWTUCKET, RI — Police early Friday responded to an overnight shooting at the Vibe Lounge and Hookah Bar in Pawtucket.

At around 1 a.m. a large crowd dispersed from the 25 Broad Street venue and one person sustaining gun shot wounds was transported to the the hospital, Pawtucket Police Det. Sgt. Chris Lefort confirmed. Lefort said the male victim is not deceased.

Other local police agencies were called in to assist due to a large crowd that dispersed from the lounge after the incident.

Lefort said the incident is under investigation.

It was the second area overnight shooting. At around midnight a 30-year-old man was fatally shot in Providence on Indiana Avenue in the Washington Park area.
