• PPAC Unveils Schools to Participate in 2026 Disney Musicals in Schools Program (broadwayworld.com) — Joseph Jenks Middle School in Pawtucket has been chosen for PPAC’s 2026 Disney Musicals in Schools program, bringing a 22-week musical theater residency to local students. Alongside four other Rhode Island schools, Jenks will receive teaching artists, performance rights, and training that culminates in a student musical and a showcase performance on the PPAC stage.
   

• RI-Filmed 'Ella McCay' Set to Arrive in Theaters on Dec. 11 (wror.com) — Pawtucket residents may spot familiar streets when the Rhode Island–filmed comedy-drama “Ella McCay” hits theaters on December 11, with scenes shot in Pawtucket alongside Providence and other nearby cities. The film, about a young politician juggling family and public life, features stars like Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Woody Harrelson, and will screen at several nearby Rhode Island cinemas.
