Pawtucket Fugitive Identified By State Police Investigators: Cops

Two special Rhode Island State Police units identified the Pawtucket man, police said.

PAWTUCKET, RI — A Pawtucket fugitive was identified by the Rhode Island State Police investigators, police said.

Kevin Depina, 34, was charged Friday as a fugitive from justice from Massachusetts, the state police said in a media release.

"The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Department of Corrections Records and Identification Unit and the ACI Investigations Unit," according to the release.

"Mr. Depina was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department," the release said.
