Pawtucket Man Charged With Cocaine Conspiracy: Cops

The Pawtucket man was also charged with violating his probation, police said.

PAWTUCKET, RI — A Pawtucket man was arrested for dealing cocaine, police said.

Carlos Depina, 52, was arrested Monday on charges of possession with the intent to deliver cocaine and controlled substance conspiracy, the Rhode Island State Police said.

Depina was taken into custody by the state police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force, police said.

"Mr. Depina was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment where he will be presented as a probation violator," police said.

State police Maj. Kenneth M. Moriarty failed to respond to a message requesting further information on Depina's arrest.
