Pawtucket Man Stabbed To Death On New York City Street
The 23-year-old man was stabbed near Times Square.

NEW YORK, NY — A Pawtucket man was stabbed to death in New York City early Monday morning.
Daevon Silva, 23, was stabbed multiple times in the back and once in the thigh, a New York Police Department spokesperson said.
Officers responding to an assault in progress on West 49th Street and Seventh Avenue found Silva wounded in the street, according to the spokesperson.

Silva was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the spokesperson said.
"No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing," she said.
