Wanted Central Falls Aggravated Assaulter Apprehended: Police

CENTRAL FALLS, RI — A wanted Central Falls man was apprehended Thursday, police said.

Kori Stanford, 34, was arrested by the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force, the state police said in a media release.

Stanford was wanted on a warrant charging him with aggravated assault, the release said.

The charge stemmed from a Pawtucket Police Department case, according to the release.

"Mr. Stanford was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of Pawtucket Police Department," the release said.
