Blizzard Expected to Bring Another 4-8 Inches of Snow Today
White-out conditions are expected. Motorists are advised to stay off the roads before 1 p.m.

Snowfall and strong winds are expected to continue today until 1 p.m., the National Weather Service predicts.
Snow accumulation is estimated at around two feet for Rhode Island, including Aquidneck Island, with another 4 to 8 inches of snow expected to fall before this afternoon.
Snow, mainly before 1 p.m., could be heavy at times.

The NWS reports that blizzard conditions will make for dangerous travel with visibilities near zero in white-out conditions.
The NWS has also issued a coastal flood advisory for the area that is in effect until 8 a.m. today.
