Graduation Shout Out: Congratulations Ethan From Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, RI — Graduation is a major milestone and deserves to be celebrated! That's why Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to recognize our community's outstanding 2024 graduates.

This submission comes from Deborah Melusky who nominated her grandson, Ethan.

"My oldest grandson," Melusky said. "I've watched him grow up with much love but also lots of difficult years of having to work with his disability all through life, but also school. He managed to teach others how they all can love each other and understand being different makes you a special. He is shy and that was hard for him. But he stood in front of a class and spoke out to the other children about diversity, and I'm sure he touched some of those students. I believe Ethan Vieira will change this world and will make a difference!! Thank You🐬 of Portsmouth."

Because he has gotten up in front of his class and spoke about being disabled, as well as finding the strength to overcome some of the misunderstood facts about being so. This was so hard for Ethan. He was very shy. As u would guess. But he did it with all his amazing glory!!! And still, he shares that love to all, even today!! And he is the best drummer.🎶🎵🎵🎼🎶🎵

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

That he is very brave. And will change this world some day!!!!!
