Portsmouth Police Boat Causes Traffic Jam
Traffic was backed up on Route 24 for at least 30 minutes Thursday afternoon.
A boat, belonging to the Portsmouth Police Department, somehow became loose from its trailer Thursday afternoon and fell off its trailer on Route 24.
A Portsmouth Patch user submitted a photo of the scene above.
According to motorists, traffic was backed up along Route 24 near Exit 1 around 3:30 p.m. The traffic jam lasted at least 30 minutes, according to drivers.
