Portsmouth High School Holding 12+ Coronavirus Vaccine Clinics
Three clinics will be held in total, all offering the Pfizer vaccine, which was authorized for use in people 12 to 15 years old.

PORTSMOUTH, RI — Now that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has emergency authorization for use in 12- to 15-year-olds, Portsmouth High School is sponsoring another round of vaccine clinics for students and members of the school community.
Two clinics will be held on the first day, with a follow-up for second shots three weeks later. The first clinic on May 28 will run from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., then 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Both first and second doses will be offered. The second clinic will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., offering second doses only.
Students aged 12 to 15 will need consent from their parent or guardian to get vaccinated. Consent can be provided online when scheduling the appointment or in person at the clinic. Adults are encouraged to accompany minors to their vaccine appointment.

While the clinics are geared towards younger teens, older students, parents and other school community members are also encouraged to sign up for a vaccine if they have not yet done so.
