Portsmouth Police Log: June 6-9

PORTSMOUTH, RI — Here are recent arrests and citations. Information comes from the police.

June 6

Kelly Noel Nace, 20, of Portsmouth, was stopped at 9:39 p.m. on Route 24 South and the Weigh Station. She was charged with Driving while impaired; Duty to Stop (damage to an attended vehicle) and Possession of a beverage by an underage person.

June 8

John William Leary, 54, of Portsmouth, was stopped at 4:51 p.m. on East Main Road near Middle Road. He was charged with Driving under the influence; Simple Assault or Battery; and Resisting arrest. He was also cited for Refusal to submit to a chemical test and Driving without a license (or with an expired license).

Neil Cyr Devoe, 28, of East Hampton, Mass., was stopped at 6:29 p.m. on East Main Road at Potomac Road and charged with Driving under the influence.

Zebadiah Hamilton Sullivan, 23, of Middletown, was stopped at 7:51 p.m. on Jepson Lane during an accident investigation. He was charged with Driving under the influence and cited for Refusal to submit to a chemical test.

June 9

Keriann Sousa, 41, of Portsmouth, was arrested on a warrant at 6:21 p.m. at home.
